Leadership Team
Joe Eckstein, Creative DirectorIllustrator, author, and cartoonist Joe Eckstein loves to touch people through art and stories. Drawing since he can remember, Joe earned a Bachelor of Fine Art degree in 2001 and has had his work published online, on greeting cards, and in magazines, newspapers, and books. He worked as an Illustrator for Carson-Dellosa Publishing, a children’s education publisher, and currently serves as Creative Director for Imagine! Studios. His design expertise is responsible for almost every high-quality book cover and interior layout produced for the Imagine! Studios brands and clients. Joe is the creator of the cartoon character Herby the Parrot, author and illustrator of Herby Gets a Life, and illustrator of over a dozen other books for children including The Max Stories, Stanley’s Colors, and Twee’. He currently has more exciting books in the works. Joe lives in Florida and is married to the love of his life, Kristen. When not creating art, he enjoys traveling, being outdoors, hiking, bicycling, model railroading, singing, acting, and dancing. More than anything, Joe loves his Creator.
